1st time seeing MSI. Waited in line for hours with Juggalos offering to paint my face and being confused when I declined. I would later come to respect the Juggalo community but that day they were just an obstacle to getting to the barrier.
My first time as well. Coal Chamber had dropped off the tour and Violent J wanted to give MSI some exposure, or at least that’s what went up on the 1999 ICP website. I didn’t quite know what to make of MSI, but I knew that I really liked what I saw. I went to Tower records a couple of days later and bought Tight and it was over. I had my favorite band. I’ve been showing people Mindless ever since.
